Janolus sp 2 is a species of small to large sea slugs, or more accurately nudibranchs, marine gastropod mollusks, in the family Proctonotidae.

Description

The body is densely covered with numerous large bulbous smooth papillae. There are no less than 100 papillae in an adult specimen. The head is small, bears two short but distinct oral tentacles. The ground color is yellow with a light orange hue. The papillae have the same color throughout most of their length, but apically they are cover with  light purple apical spot.

Distribution

Indonesia and Philippines.

Habitat

This genus of nudibranch is found in shallow and subtidal waters. Janolus species feed on Bryozoa, moss animals.
