Nardoa rosea, the rose sea star, is a species of sea star of the family Ophidiasteridae.

This starfish has 5 arms of circular section, tapered termination. Its color is of background is brownish with dew or orange with broad striped white band. The aboral disk and arms are covered with wart-like plaques of variable size, prominent, rounded, lighter in color, and rimmed darker. It is found on the coral reef. It is essentially herbivorous. It feeds on filamentous algae, detritus and organic debris. The mode of reproduction is gonochoric, male and female release the gametes at the same time in full water. The larvae move among the plankton for a month before reaching the bottom. Max size 25 cm, depth 0-51 m

The genus "Gomophia" has conical and pointed tubercles.
