Its colour pattern varies from white to brown and red. Its spine is weak and it lives symbiotically in tube anemones. Found with sea anemones and tube anemones over coral and rocky reefs. They feed on plankton. Size - 4 cm Depth - 5-80m Widespread Indo-Pacific
Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer.
