Emblemariopsis signifer is a species of chaenopsid blenny found in coral reefs in the western Atlantic ocean. It can reach a maximum length of 3.3 centimetres SL. This species is preyed on by Horse-eye jacks.

Description

Size: This is a miniature fish, with a total length typically ranging from about 2.8 to 3.3 cm.

Body: It features an elongated, slender, and graceful body adapted for life in narrow shelters and tube-like crevices. Translucent, glass-like, or pinkish (which is why it is called a "glass blenny"), making it nearly invisible against the coral background. Head and torso can be speckled with small yellowish, orange, or brownish dots and spots.

Dorsal Fin (in males): The primary color accent — the tall "sail-like" fin is often adorned with striking dark (black), reddish, or yellow markings, which the male displays during courtship or territorial defense.
