Gastropteron bicornutum is characterized by orange-yellow spots and minute white spots covering the surfaces of the whole cephalic shield, dorsal hump and parapodia, and by the two dorsal posterior processes from which the species gets its name. The parapodia have a thin black marginal line.
Gastropteron is a genus of small colorful sea slugs, marine gastropod molluscs in the family Gastropteridae.
