Cuapetes kororensis is a species of shrimp in the family Palaemonidae.
Description
Cuapetes kororensis has a reddish-brown carapace with a transparent abdomen, long thin transparent arms with blue spots on them and a typical white raised spot on the head. The maximum size of these shrimp is up to 4 cm. Males are half the size of females.
Distribution
From the Philippines and Indonesia to Australia, Marshall Islands and New Caledonia.
Habitat
This shrimp lives in symbiotic conditions with corals such as Heliofungia actiniformis, but sometimes they live on other cnidarians.
